Spring/Fall Clean-ups

Spring Cleanup

When the snow melts, return your property to its formal glory with a Spring clean up. During your spring clean up we will pick up twigs, branches, pine cones, in lawn areas and planting beds. Next we will weed and re-edge your planting beds which will sharply define the beds from your lawn areas. Finally we will edge all your lawn areas from any walks, drives, patios and curbs and power sweep any loose debris such as gravel or sand that has accumulated over the winter. Now your property is clean and ready for additional services such as mulch, fertilizer applications, dethatching, aeration, etc.

Fall Cleanup

As part of regular lawn care, removing leaves in the fall is an important part of making sure your lawn is happy and healthy the following year. Too many leaves can choke the oxygen and block the water and light required for grass to grow. Although a small amount of leaves can be mulched to provide nutrients to the grass and soil, too many leaves can lead to disease, pests and unhealthy grass During this final clean up, usually in late October into early December, we blow out every nook and crannie of your property getting all leaves, twigs and acorns out of your beds and lawn areas. Then we re-edge and rake your planting beds. Finally we give the lawn its final cut and edge all the drives, walks, and patios. Now your property is ready for a long winter’s slumber and additional services such, fertilizer applications, irrigation blow out, etc.
